The original 1850’s ceiling was completely removed by Baltimore City. Fortunately a 1930’s photograph still existed, providing us direction on recreation. First the creation of the coffers and rosettes, then applied moldings. This was followed by layers of paint and gold tipping.
The new ceiling conceals fire suppression piping and LED lighting systems. Decorative Painter, Peiran Teng applies final infill of painted highlights.
An 1850’s Cornelius Baker chandelier was purchased at auction. Its restoration and conversion to LED was done by William Geschwilm of BoMark Electric. William has installed all new lighting and dimming systems.
